F.A.Q. - FEES AND TAXES
In this section we will outline all fees and taxes that are charged and included in the financing. We're proud that all of the fees we charge match or exceed the rest of the industry and take pride in full disclosure of all fees. While most dealers try to hide costs - we are happy to provide breakdowns for every deal that we process.
BUYING FROM OUR INVENTORY

CASH DEALS
We're proud to offer ZERO FEES on cash deals from our inventory.
The all-in price is price plus tax.
If you are a dealership or finance company looking to buy from our inventory there is a $699 dealer fee added to the purchase price.

FINANCING
Our documentation fee is $499 flat on all units from our inventory or purchased through private sale financing.
Lenders charge an admin fee from $199 to $999 depending on the approval.
Full insurance coverage will be required on the unit being financed throughout the duration of the loan.

SALES TAX
GST is charged on all purchases from our inventory.
PST is charged by SK, MB and BC. It is collected by the registry and will only be added to the loan if requested.
HST is charged by ON, NB, NL, NS and PEI. It is only required in the event we are delivering the unit outside of Alberta or it is not registered within 7 days. This can be added to the loan upon request.
PRIVATE SALES FINANCING

FINANCING
We mark up the unit 10% of the full cost to buy the unit into our inventory for financing purpose with a minmum charge of $500.
When buying from another dealer they become our wholesaler and typically will charge GST and admin fees themselves. Factor this into the total cost as GST will be charged upon resale at our sales price.
Our doc fee for private sales financing is $499 which covers lien checks, valuation checks, vehicle history reports and processing.
Lenders charge an admin fee from $199 to $999 depending on the approval.

SALES TAX
GST is charged on the total sales price for all private sales. The total sales price is our cost plus the 10% markup.
In the event of financing a unit from another dealership - they will likely have GST and fees as well. We will require an offer to purchase to include this all as a part of our cost.
PST is charged by SK, MB and BC. It is collected by the registry and will only be added to the loan if requested.
HST is charged by ON, NB, NL, NS and PEI. It is only required in the event we are delivering outside of Alberta or it is not registered within 7 days of delivery. This can be added to the loan upon request.

ANOTHER DEALER TOLD ME THEY DON'T CHARGE GST ON PRIVATE SALES, WHY?
Our sole goal is to ensure that you, as a buyer, are protected. Some other dealers offering similar services to ours are simply acting as a loan brokerage. We've heard horror stories of customers buying units with liens or undisclosed write-offs as well as full on scams where the unit doesn't even exist.
We take ownership and buy the unit into our inventory to protect our buyers as we deal direct with the seller to verify their identity, lien information and ownership.
Q. If I am buying a used unit, hasn't the tax already been paid when it was originally purchased new? Do I have to pay tax again?
A. Yes and yes.
(It may seem silly but dealerships, like most businesses, have to charge tax on goods they sell.)
